Healthy Living
I have become so intrigued by healthy living blogs over the past several weeks! I really admire people who can inspire and share so openly about their personal struggles and successes. One thing that all of these blogs teach is accountability. Therefore, I have decided that I will start keeping a daily food blog of what I am eating, what exericse I'm doing, and my weight in order to stay accountable for my actions. I seriously doubt that anyone has stumbled upon my blog yet, as I've just started it. But, even if I'm the only one viewing it I still think it will help me on my weight loss journey to be able to look back at my failures and successes and see where I can improve. Wish me luck!

Kidisms
Kids just say the darnedest things! I really wish I'd had my video camera out and rolling this past Saturday! As Matt and I were watching from the sidelines at Liam's soccer game we overheard this conversation:
Coach: "Jackson and Oscar, you'll be forwards. Joel, you'll be the midfielder. Liam and Thomas, defenders. Christian and Joe will sit out this quarter."
Thomas: "I want to sit out this quarter, coach."
Coach: "Okay... Christian, you'll be in after all."
Christian: "Coach, what's an afterall?"
Too funny!!

Handsome little devil
For Christmas, Liam received a really cute retro looking hoodie with faded peace signs on it. I have been practically begging him to wear it to school for the past two weeks, but he has evaded that with several excuses. Finally, last night I asked him what the deal was. Did he just not like it? Was he embarrassed by it? No... his reply was this: "Mama, it's just really sharp and I get tired of people telling me I look handsome every day." Oh, the worries of a first grader...
